The Family Medicine Residency Center is a dynamic medical office where resident physicians and a dedicated team collaborate, learn, and grow together. The clinical Registered Nurse coordinates patient care, monitors chronic conditions, conducts outreach, and supports preventive health efforts. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with providers, educate patients, and assist physicians in implementing care plans to improve outcomes and reduce health disparities in an outpatient setting. We are seeking an experienced RN with a minimum of two years of experience for this position. The role is based at 221 N Celia Ave, Muncie, IN 47303, and does not require travel to additional locations. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm No weekends! No holidays!

Requirements

Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies.
Requires ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner.
Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
Requires ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
