About The Position

Troy Regional is seeking applicants for the position of Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department. This is a Baylor position (weekend dayshift 7AM-7PM). The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe and effective nursing care to all Emergency Room patients utilizing the nursing process. The role includes the direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. Responsibilities also encompass patient assessment and reassessment through data collection and systems evaluation, patient and family education through the implementation of a teaching plan, and nursing intervention through documentation of patients' responses to nursing interventions, treatments, and procedures. As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will communicate patient status continuously throughout assigned patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Alabama Registered Nursing License.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days.
• ACLS and PALS certifications by the end of the 90-day probationary period.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience (preferred).

Responsibilities
