About The Position

The ENDO/Procedure Room Nurse is responsible for providing exceptional patient care and family support throughout the surgical experience. This position provides the physician members of the healthcare team with the equipment, supplies and support to perform surgical/endoscopic procedures. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
• Ability to effectively communicate with others
• Ability to adjust to changes within daily schedule of activities
• Minimum 2 years medical/surgical experience

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s in nursing
• Proficiency in Clinical Applications
• Prior Ambulatory Surgery Center experience
• 1-2 years Endoscopy or procedure room experience
• SGNA Certification
