About the Role: As an RN in our Endoscopy Department, you’ll be part of a highly skilled team performing a wide range of procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, EUS, bronchoscopy, and ERCP. You’ll work alongside gastroenterologists, pulmonologists, nurses, technicians, and coordinators to deliver tertiary-level care in a community setting. Position Details: Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures. Requirements

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
  • Graduate from Specialty Training Program- (Required)
  • Minimum of 1 year-Nursing (Required)
  • Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania

Responsibilities

  • Assist providers during GI endoscopic procedures
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and conscious sedation
  • Monitor patients during and after procedures
  • Collect and prepare lab specimens
  • Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery
  • Lead and support other clinic nurses and technicians
  • Maintain and inspect medical equipment and supplies

  • Schedule: Full-time union position (40 hours/week)- 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday with rotating start times (6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, or 8:00 AM)
  • On-Call Rotation: Includes weekends and holidays. On-call responsibilities typically occur every 7th weekend, 4 weekdays per month, and 1–2 holidays per year. A 30-minute response time is required when on-call. Scheduling is based on team rotation and may be subject to change.
