Registered Nurse Endoscopy
About The Position
Deliver direct, patient-focused nursing care for endoscopy patients, including pre-procedure preparation, monitoring during sedation, and post-procedure recovery. Implement and monitor individualized care plans, accurately documenting patient status and communicating changes to the care team. Coordinate care with physicians, technologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient procedures and smooth discharge planning. Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year direct care in endoscopy, ED or ICU or 3 years Medical Surgical experience.
- On call rotation required M-F 18-07, Holidays and weekends closed 24hr on call.
- 8 hr shifts, hours 9-10am variable start
- Occasional late shifts
