About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care. The RN performs comprehensive assessments, develops and updates care plans, administers treatments safely, and evaluates patient outcomes. This role collaborates closely with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team to ensure optimal results and a positive care experience. Our Endoscopy unit offers a dynamic mix of inpatient and outpatient cases, providing RNs with the opportunity to build strong clinical versatility. The team operates across five endoscopy procedure rooms, supporting a high volume of both routine and specialized cases. RNs enjoy the chance to work in pre‑procedure, intra‑procedure, and post‑recovery phases, gaining well‑rounded experience across the full continuum of GI care. This is a busy, fast‑paced environment ideal for nurses who thrive on teamwork, efficiency, and professional growth. The schedule supports excellent work‑life balance, with minimal on call requirements for weeknight, weekends and holidays.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree - Nursing (Required)
  • New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire. (Required)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in an Endoscopy setting
  • Registered Nurse licensure (Required)
  • ACLS PALS may be required but is dependent on unit or department Preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs at various stages of the life cycle

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and document findings accurately.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care based on patient needs and clinical standards.
  • Safely administer medications, treatments, and utilize equipment according to policy.
  • Advocate for patients while maintaining a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment.
  • Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Recognize and respond to emergency situations appropriately.
  • Supervise delegated tasks and ensure quality care delivery.
  • Demonstrate professionalism through continuous learning, collaboration, and participation in unit initiatives.
