Registered Nurse - Endoscopy - PRN - Variable Shift
About The Position
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Delivers professional nursing care in the operative setting to patients undergoing procedures. Performs scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure. Performs circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure. Prepares rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Previous 1-2 years recent related clinical nursing experience and a demonstrated level of performance and practice required.
- Previous Endoscopy experience required.
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
