About The Position

The staff RN is a professional care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability of patient care by applying the nursing process; care provided will address physical, psychosocial and discharge needs. The Registered Nurse guides and supervises assigned nursing personnel, collaborates with other healthcare professionals, coordinates ancillary services and functions within the policies and procedures of the hospital and the legal framework of the State of Tennessee. The Registered Nurse demonstrates ongoing professional growth and self development.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Nursing Program (BSN preferred)
• One year of experience in acute care area is preferred
• Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development necessary for assessment and treatment of patients
• Knowledge of hospital and department policies and procedures
• Ability to operate technical equipment as acquired through orientation

Responsibilities
