Located at 10 Members Way in Dover, NH, this position will support our expert providers that specialize in care for patients with endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, and a broad spectrum of other hormonal disorders. This practice focuses on specialized diagnostics and treatment, including advanced patient education programs to assist individuals looking to improve their health and enjoy a better quality of life. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to pick up per diem shifts to provide coverage for call-outs, vacancies, and vacations. This is a per diem role within a Monday–Friday practice, open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with shifts available during those hours. The ideal candidate will have prior phone triage experience and be comfortable supporting a busy clinical environment as needed. Responsible for patient care and support within our hospital's outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree Nursing required
• Registered Nurse [RN - State License] required
• Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
• Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and healthcare technologies.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
• Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] preferred
• Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred
• Phone Triage experience
• EPIC experience
• Endocrinology Experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and support in our ambulatory care unit, ensuring high nursing standards.
• Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
• Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
