About The Position
Registered Nurse - Emergency - Night Shift - $10,000 Sign-On Bonus! Full-Time - Nights (7p-7a) Relocation Assistance! Job Summary: Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care Assists physicians during examinations and procedures Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Performs a variety of tasks A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department Odessa Regional Medical Center was founded in 1975 as Odessa Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Through the years, the hospital grew and evolved into a full-service healthcare facility and the name was changed to Odessa Regional Medical Center to reflect its larger campus and more comprehensive services. The hospital has 225 beds and has approximately 250 physicians on staff and has over 700 employees. Today, ORMC offers a wide spectrum of healthcare services, including advanced diagnostic imaging technology, emergency care, innovative surgical procedures, maternity care, comprehensive cardiac services and general medical care.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure, State of Texas required
- BLS, ACLS and PALS required
Nice To Haves
- TNCC Certification preferred
