About The Position

Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their family/support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communications. Requirements

  • RN-Registered Nurse of California
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
  • ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • 1 year of ED experience preferred
  • Independently practices and prioritizes multiple demands in an ever-changing environment.
  • Must have documented experience and knowledge of current techniques used on specific nursing unit.
  • Must demonstrate basic nursing skills.
  • Working knowledge of pharmacology.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must learn operations of relevant hospital equipment.
  • Basic keyboard skills preferred.
  • Must learn basic unit operations.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Prolonged standing and walking with ability to lift, move and transport patients and related medical equipment and devices.
  • Flexibility to bend, stoop, twist and reach overhead.
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills in dealing with patients, families, visitors, co-workers, hospital staff, physicians, volunteers, etc.
