Learn more at www.smmcnj.com. The Registered Nurse Navigator is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse Navigator also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Cancer Center. The Registered Nurse Navigator is responsible for providing warm line support and navigation services for clients served by Saint Michael Medical Center.

Requirements

  • Current and valid state RN License
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Nice To Haves

  • OCN preferred
  • Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
