About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room for an exciting job in Hyannis, MA.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
• Minimum 1 year of ER travel nursing experience
• Active Massachusetts RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current)
• Strong skills in: IV administration and IV starts
• Ventilator care
• Telemetry monitoring
• Successful completion of required pharmacology and basic arrhythmia competency exams
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Nice To Haves

• De-escalation Certification
• TNCC, ENPC, and PALS certifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care using evidence-based practices
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout admission
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Initiate and update individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Utilize computerized nursing and clinical information systems effectively
• Demonstrate proficiency in charge nurse responsibilities when assigned
• Serve as a resource for patient care, staff orientation, and education
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and blood/body fluid policies
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities
• Maintain confidentiality and represent the organization professionally within the community
• Consistently provide excellent service to patients, families, visitors, and colleagues
• Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership
