About The Position

Seeking experienced night-shift Registered Nurses for a high-volume Adult Emergency Department , with exposure to pediatric patients as required. This position is local rate only . Candidates must have prior experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers and be proficient in managing a wide range of emergent conditions. EPIC Electronic Medical Records experience is required. Shifts will be scheduled 19:00–07:30 , including every other weekend and some holidays . Requests for fixed schedules or excessive time off will not be approved.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of New York
• BLS certification (must be current and eligible for recertification)
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent Emergency Department or acute care experience (within the past 2 years)
• Candidates must have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers
• Adult and Pediatric ER experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• No history of professional license or certification suspension or investigation
• No prior involvement as a defendant in a professional liability claim
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to pass pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid and comprehensive nursing assessments in the Emergency Department
• Deliver high-quality patient care across varying acuity levels with minimal supervision
• Manage emergency interventions for adult and pediatric patients
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary emergency care teams
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and patient safety standards
