About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Adult) to deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department. The RN will assess, plan, and implement patient care for individuals presenting with acute, urgent, and critical conditions while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Strong skills in IV insertion and phlebotomy
• Experience with conscious sedation
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency environment
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited nursing program
• Active New York State RN License
• Primary Source Verification of RN license and registration from the NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
• AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• TNCC (required at select facilities)

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency treatments per physician orders and protocols
• Initiate and manage IV access, phlebotomy, and cardiac monitoring
• Provide nursing care during conscious sedation and emergency procedures
• Monitor patient condition, recognize changes, and respond appropriately to emergencies
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in the EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to ensure safe and effective patient care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices
