Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- New York State RN License (must be in hand)
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- PALS
- TNCC
- 5 years of current Emergency Department experience preferred
- Experience caring for patients across the lifespan, including: Neonates Infants Pediatrics Adolescents Adults Geriatrics
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups
- Interpret cardiac rhythms accurately
- Successfully complete a hospital-proctored rhythm interpretation exam, requiring: >80% accuracy in rhythm identification 100% accuracy in identifying critical rhythms
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care
