About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse - Emergency Department for an exciting Travel or Local job in Atlanta, GA. This contract position involves providing emergency nursing care in a Level I trauma emergency department. The role requires performing rapid patient assessment and triage, managing critical and high-acuity patients, administering medications and emergency interventions, and monitoring patient status. The nurse will also assist with trauma resuscitation and stabilization, collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary ED team, and ensure accurate documentation in EMR systems, patient safety, and infection control compliance. The position demands the ability to support fast-paced emergency department operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years ED experience in a Level I trauma facility required
• Active Georgia RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
• Ability to work in high-stress, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
