About The Position
Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse to our Emergency Department at Baptist Emergency Room Oakleaf. This is a Full-Time Nights shift opportunity. As a Registered Nurse you will be Responsible for: Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital Coordinate care provided by ancillary services Act as the patient advocate Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities This Registered Nurse will be located at our Freestanding ED Baptist Oakleaf. Requirements
- 1-2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
- Telemetry Experience
- Emergency Services Experience
- Hospital Experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
Nice To Haves
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
- Certified Emergency Registered Nurse (CEN) Preferred
- Trauma Nurse Core Course Certification (TNCC) Preferred
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification Preferred
- Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
Responsibilities
