About The Position

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department provides highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. This includes direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). The role also involves directing and supervising other assigned team members and collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to deliver age/developmentally appropriate care in line with unit standards. The position is at Methodist Celina Medical Center, a new full-service hospital located on a 40+ acre campus, opening with 51 beds and plans for expansion. It will offer a range of services including cardiology, women’s services, orthopedics, and robotic surgery, and aims to be one of Celina’s largest employers.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Current Basic Life Support Certification
Current additional certifications as required by department
Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
At least 6 months RN experience
