The Emergency Department (ED) at Frankfort cares for patients of all ages in a 10-bed unit with a 5/6 to one nurse/patient ratio, supported by a house supervisor. Nurses in this unit care for patients requiring IV medication drips, stroke patients, calling and running codes, and orthopedics. Requirements

  • Requires 1 year RN experience
  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN)
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred
