The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members. You will be compensated for training hours and will be benefit-eligible. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require: ASN / ADN from an accredited program with the ability to obtain your BSN from an accredited program within four (4) years of hire unless you possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years of proven continuous Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting Current Colorado RN license or compact license with the ability to obtain Colorado RN license Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association Ability and willingness to work all shifts - days, mids, and/or nights - dependent on departmental need Ability and willingness to work under stressful conditions with a high volume of patients Ability and willingness to learn in classroom and online settings as well as at the bedside in the clinical setting Ability and willingness to commit to the 12-week training period uninterrupted Highly Preferred: At least one (1) year of RN experience, preferably in an acute care environment Your next move.
