About The Position

Sentara Hospital Support Services is hiring a Registered Nurse to work for the Regional Resource Pool covering Woodbridge, Charlottesville, or Harrisonburg. Sentara RN Regional Resource Pool: Schedule Control & Premium Pay Develop stronger, diverse clinical skills This position is PRN, Night Shift This is a great opportunity for experienced RNs that are looking for flexible self-scheduling and PREMIUM PAY! · Requires a minimum of 48 scheduled hours of Night Shift per month · At least 1 -12 hour weekend shift per month. - Requires availability to work at 2 of the 3 hospitals listed below: Northern VA / Blue Ridge Pool Hospitals: Northern Virginia (Woodbridge), Martha Jefferson (Charlottesville), Rockingham Memorial (Harrisonburg) Must reside within 75 miles of two of the three hospitals: Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA, or Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, VA. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. Requirements

  • Registered Nurse Diploma (Required)
  • Active Registered Nurse License (Required)
  • Requires minimum 18 months RECENT ED RN experience
  • Requires a minimum of 48 scheduled Night shift hours per pay month, 12-hour weekend shift per month.
  • Requires minimum RN experience of 18 months.
  • Must reside within 75 miles of two of the three hospitals: Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA, or Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, VA.

Responsibilities
