About The Position

Baptist Health is looking to add a Radiology Technologist in our Radiology Department at our Free-Standing Emergency Department at Town Center in Jacksonville, FL. The primary responsibility of our Radiology Technologist is to ensure physicians and other members of a patient's care team receive high-quality images they can use to make diagnoses or assess the success of treatments. This is a PRN various shifts opportunity. Participation in holiday rotation is required. This Radiology Technologist will be located at Baptist Free-Standing ED at Town Center in Jacksonville, FL.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist required.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree preferred.
• Customer Service Experience.
• Radiology/Imaging Experience.
• Experience working in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic, operative, and emergency room procedures at a level not requiring constant supervision.
• Must be able to do fluoro, minor OR cases, portables and diagnostic x-rays.
• Promotes good will amongst co-workers and with other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
• Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.
