About The Position

We are hiring a full-time mid shift RN for our Emergency Department Float Pool. This position that will float between all 4 main hospital locations in Lee’s Summit, Overland Park, North Kansas City, and Plaza areas. Schedules are written 8 – 10 weeks in advance. Shift: Full Time Mids (self schedule between 9-9, 11-11 and 1-1) Responsibilities: Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team. Delegates tasks appropriately. Identifies hospital resources. Serves as a clinical resource for new employees. Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department. Requirements

  • Applicable Experience: 2 years
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
