About The Position

We are currently hiring for our Med/Surg Float Pool at Essentia Health - Duluth! Essentia Health - Duluth consists of the following floors: - Observation Unit - Inpatient Rehab - Adolescent Behavioral Health - Adult Behavioral Health - Med/Surg This float pool is primarily between Observation, Inpatient Rehab, and Med/Surg Floors as we have a separate Behavioral Health Float Pool. Submit an application today! - You will be responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - You will delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. - You will contribute to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. Education Qualifications: BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing This position will work the following: 0.75 FTE 12 Hour Shifts Day/Night Rotation Every third weekend $2.00 per hour upon hire into a float pool position (This is included in the base of $45.30 per hour listed) Licensure/Certification Qualifications: Current nursing licensure in Minnesota Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month PALS or ACLS preferred Experience: 1 year Acute RN experience preferred, Critical Care experience preferred. Requirements

BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
Current nursing licensure in Minnesota
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month

Nice To Haves

PALS or ACLS preferred
1 year Acute RN experience preferred
Critical Care experience preferred
