Requirements

Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing or other healthcare related field
Must have at least 2 years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience
Must have and maintain a current, unrestricted license to practice as an RN in the state of FL
Valid CPR certification

Responsibilities

Develops and implements an effective staff education program, coordinating individualized orientation and continuing education for all nursing staff
Tracks and trends statistical information to ensure ongoing competence and clinical competency of nursing personnel
Collaborates with nursing administration and compliance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and facility policies
Facilitates training affiliation agreements with local nursing schools and develops, reviews and revises policies as required
Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in the field through ongoing education and attending meetings and conference as assigned
