Description Principal Accountabilities: Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures Monitor patients’ vital signs before, during, and after procedures Prepare and maintain sterile procedure environments Administer medications and intravenous therapies as ordered Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care Operate and troubleshoot specialized cardiac equipment Recognize and respond to complications or emergencies Document patient care and procedure details accurately Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives Establish an ongoing learning assessment instrument in conjunction with the management team to identify and plan appropriate staff development programs Orientation of new staff to unit or process Participates in mandatory in-services and/or CE programs as mandated by policies and procedures/external agencies and as directed by management. Follows and understands the mission, vision, core values, Employee Standards of Behavior and company policies/procedures On-Call is required for this role
