How you’ll make an impact in this role Lead the clinical response for patients in acute distress by implementing and adapting care plans that prioritize life-saving interventions and stabilizing outcomes. Orchestrate the multidisciplinary team as the primary care coordinator, ensuring every specialist and support department works in perfect sync to provide seamless, rapid patient care. Advocate for patient safety by continuously monitoring and communicating critical changes in condition to the medical team, ensuring immediate action when every second counts. Drive the path to recovery by accurately executing complex physician orders and clinical protocols with precision and clinical expertise. Navigate the patient’s transition by collaborating with the healthcare team to design and execute effective discharge or admission plans that ensure long-term stability and support.

Requirements

  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of 2 years of professional nursing experience specifically within an Emergency Department (ED) setting preferred.
