About The Position
Emergency Dept Supervisor - Night Shift, 3x12 - 13 week contract, Start 4/20 - $65+/hr WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as an Emergency Department (ED) Supervisor. In this leadership role, you will oversee the daily operations of the ED nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, efficient workflow, and adherence to policies and procedures. You will provide clinical support, mentorship, and coordination among interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment. This position requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a solid background in emergency nursing. Requirements
- Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in an ED setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Certifications in BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred.
- Competent in triage, Stroke identification/management, STEMI identification/management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and team management abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in an ED setting preferred.
- Certifications in BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred.
