About The Position

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a Registered Nurse - ED Boarders at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. This is a contract position (13 week contracts available with opportunity for long-term employment) Days and nights available Assigned to care for patients who are admitted and waiting in the ED on bed availability, either in a designated area Level I Trauma Center, top ranked hospital in Eastern TN, & a Magnet recognized hospital! Medical, Dental, Vision benefits offered Housing stipends available

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• RN license in the state of Tennessee or Multi-State Compact License
• At least 2 years’ acute care experience (not ED), preferably in an academic level 1 trauma center
• Active BLS

Responsibilities

• Assigned to care for patients who are admitted and waiting in the ED on bed availability
