About The Position

The Staff Pad is looking for a Diagnostic Imaging Registered Nurse for a hospital in Helena, Montana. This PRN position involves coordinating patient education and scheduling to prepare them for diagnostic imaging procedures in an outpatient setting. You'll work collaboratively with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure patients are ready for their procedures, reviewing their status, addressing any issues, and documenting findings accurately.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Professional School of Nursing required.
• Current Montana Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Previous conscious sedation experience required.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience in ER/ICU preferred.
• Certification in a Nursing Specialty (e.g., CCRN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient education and scheduling for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Assess patient readiness for procedures, including physical parameters, lab values, and medications.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to resolve patient issues and prevent delays.
• Accurately document patient information and care.
