About The Position

Jackson Purchase Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Detox Unit. This full-time position requires working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The RN will provide direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The position reports to the Director or Manager of the Department. The facility is a 107 all-private bed, Joint Commission-accredited hospital that offers a variety of inpatient and outpatient services. The RN will serve a diverse patient population, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. The role involves regular exposure to bloodborne pathogens and hazardous materials, and physical demands include frequent standing, walking, and lifting/moving patients.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care certifications preferred.

• Experience in a detox or rehabilitation setting.
• Knowledge of addiction treatment protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
