About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals Little Rock is responsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients aged 18 and older, including those with medically complex conditions, general medical-surgical needs, and rehabilitation or wound care requirements. The RN supervises patient care during their shift, ensuring adherence to nursing standards and promoting teamwork among healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing by the state of employment.
• Minimum of two years of acute care experience or rehabilitation as a registered nurse preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current provider CPR certification throughout employment.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of employment.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

• CCRN certification preferred for ICU/HOU RNs.
• Experience in an ICU environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients.
• Supervise and delegate patient care tasks to LVN/LPN or CNA and other team members.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skill in the nursing process when providing patient care.
• Promote teamwork with physicians and personnel from other departments.
