We're seeking a PT Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Program (PRTF) for adolescent females and males at our West Chester, PA location. Our programs provide clinical treatment, educational instruction and behavioral intervention services to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing with a B.S.N., Diploma or A.D.
  • Currently licensed to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • One year of post-education nursing experience preferred.
  • Experience with individuals with cognitive and/or behavioral challenges or medically complex conditions.
  • Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adhere to established guidelines.
  • Valid driver's license must be maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to children and adolescents in a psychiatric residential treatment program.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to support the growth and development of young individuals.
  • Implement clinical treatment and educational instruction as per the program guidelines.
  • Participate in crisis prevention and intervention training.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care.
