About The Position
We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to support cardiovascular surgical procedures in a high-acuity operating room setting. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in open heart surgeries and be comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Requirements
- Active RN license (state-specific)
- Open heart surgery experience required
- Minimum 2+ years of CVOR experience preferred
- AHA BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and protocols
Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiovascular and open heart surgical procedures
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to OR protocols
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures
- Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with clinical standards
