About The Position

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit team within an acute care hospital setting. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with established nursing standards and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes.
The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while serving as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers.

Requirements

• Active Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license required
• Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU RN experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – within 30 days of start
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – within 6 months of start
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – within 6 months of start
• NIH Stroke Scale – within 30 days of start
• Must have at least 1 year of recent ICU RN experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Must hold an active RN license
• Must meet all certification requirements within required timeframes
• Must be eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a CVICU setting
• Perform patient assessments and implement care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Document patient care accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and follow-up care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Support evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes appropriately
