About The Position
Seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse for a travel assignment. The RN will provide high-acuity care to critically ill cardiac patients, including post-operative cardiac surgery patients, while working in a fast-paced ICU environment. Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to manage complex patient conditions are essential.
Requirements
- Active RN license (New York or compact, as applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Experience managing 1:2 ICU patient ratios
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency with Epic EMR (preferred)
