JOB SUMMARY Responsible and accountable for implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process in accordance with current established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act. Requirements

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program.
  • Licensure: RN Indiana License.
  • CPR certification on hire or able to attain within 60 days.
  • Experience: New Grads RN's are Welcome

Responsibilities

  • Care for patients with higher acuity needs including cardiac drips, post-op recovery, telemetry, respiratory support, and more
  • Monitor, assess, and respond to patient conditions in real-time
  • Collaborate with providers, therapists, pharmacists, and fellow nurses to deliver coordinated care
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health promotion
  • Document assessments, medications, and interventions in our EHR system with accuracy and timeliness
  • Implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process in accordance with current established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
  • Provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.
