JOB SUMMARY Responsible and accountable for implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process in accordance with current established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act. Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program.
- Licensure: RN Indiana License.
- CPR certification on hire or able to attain within 60 days.
- Experience: New Grads RN's are Welcome
Responsibilities
- Care for patients with higher acuity needs including cardiac drips, post-op recovery, telemetry, respiratory support, and more
- Monitor, assess, and respond to patient conditions in real-time
- Collaborate with providers, therapists, pharmacists, and fellow nurses to deliver coordinated care
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health promotion
- Document assessments, medications, and interventions in our EHR system with accuracy and timeliness
- Implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process in accordance with current established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
- Provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.
