About The Position

The position is within the Critical Care department, requiring the provision of professional nursing care while adhering to legal nursing responsibilities as outlined by the Nurse Practice Act. The role involves working three 12-hour shifts per week, with a rotating schedule of days and nights, including every other weekend and holidays.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
• Current Pennsylvania licensure and other state licensure as required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
• One year recent experience in Critical Care, Cath lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Emergency Department, or two years of telemetry nursing experience.
• Will consider three years of experience in Medical Surgical Nursing.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing.
• Two years of acute care nursing experience or one year of Critical Care nursing experience.
• Certification in the specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
• Work three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating between days and nights.
• Be available for every other weekend and holidays.
