About The Position
The Registered Nurse in Critical Care provides professional nursing care, adhering to legal nursing responsibilities as outlined by the Nurse Practice Act.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing
- Current Pennsylvania licensure
- Other state licensure as required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment
- One year recent experience in any of the following specialties: Critical Care, Cath lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit or Emergency Department OR two years of telemetry nursing experience OR three years of experience in Medical Surgical Nursing
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing
- Two years of acute care nursing experience or one year of Critical Care nursing experience
- Certification in this specialty area
Responsibilities
