Experience the advanced care environment of Critical Care 2000, a 12-bed Surgical/Trauma ICU & Surgical Step Down Unit, Critical Care 3000, a 12-bed Neurocritical care unit, and Critical Care 2800, a 28-bed acuity adaptable unit catering to cardiothoracic, vascular surgery, and Medical ICU patients. Our acuity adaptable beds ensure seamless care across all acuity levels within a single setting for our post open heart procedures. Patients can transition from post-op recovery to critical care to telemetry status all in one room. Our dynamic team includes critical care nurses, surgical nurses, and collaborative intensivists who work closely with physicians to meet interdisciplinary needs effectively. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
