About The Position

The Registered Nurse Critical Care position at Williamson Medical Center involves coordinating, implementing, and planning nursing care for patients in a critical care environment. Requirements

• Valid RN License in the State of Tennessee.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire for critical care.
• Basic arrhythmia certification within 6 months of hire for critical care.
• AACN, CCRN, or CCP certification within two years of hire for critical care.
• Experience in critical care patient care delivery.

Nice To Haves

• TNCC certification preferred.
• Experience in surgery is a plus.
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire for pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments on all patients upon admission.
• Plan individualized patient care based on identified needs and nursing diagnoses.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to hospital policies.
• Reassess patient conditions and modify care plans as necessary.
• Accept charge responsibilities and assign staff based on patient acuity.
• Facilitate staff development and maintain a therapeutic environment.
