About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to support the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) . The selected candidate will primarily work in the ICU and may float to CVICU and occasionally to Med/Surg Telemetry units depending on patient census and operational needs. The RN will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care using the nursing process while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification
  • Completion of Pharmacology Exam
  • Completion of Basic Arrhythmia Exam
  • Prior Critical Care (ICU/CVICU) experience required

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Administer medications and closely monitor patient responses and outcomes.
  • Direct and coordinate patient care activities while guiding and supervising ancillary personnel.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation, including physical, psychological, and social assessments , and discharge planning.
  • Communicate assessment findings and relevant patient information to the interdisciplinary care team
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff and assist with orientation and training when needed.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in charge nurse responsibilities when required.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives , monitoring care indicators and evaluating patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to hospital safety policies, including infection control and blood/body fluid exposure protocols
  • Maintain professional development and stay current with clinical competencies and nursing best practices.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and represent the organization with professionalism at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
