About The Position

Seeking experienced night-shift Registered Nurses for Adult Critical Care units , including CCU and ICU areas. Unit placement will be determined based on the candidate’s clinical background and experience. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers and be comfortable working in a high-acuity environment with minimal orientation. EPIC Electronic Medical Records experience is preferred. Nurses will be required to work every other weekend and may be scheduled for some holidays . Requests for fixed schedules or time off exceeding 7 days will not be approved.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of New York
• BLS certification (must be current and eligible for recertification)
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience (within the past 2 years) in a comparable hospital setting
• Candidates must have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers
• Prior ICU/CCU experience required
• No history of professional license or certification suspension or investigation
• No prior involvement as a defendant in a professional liability claim
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to successfully pass pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Deliver high-quality patient care in CCU/ICU environments with minimal supervision
• Monitor and manage critically ill patients
