About The Position

As an RN Coordinator, you will work directly under the Director to assist with overseeing daily operations, support staff development, and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. You will coordinate high-quality care for complex, high-acuity patients, applying your clinical expertise in assessment, monitoring, and care planning. Your leadership will help foster a collaborative team culture and promote best practices across the department.

Requirements

Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN).
Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Nice To Haves

Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Prior experience in Pre-Op, Post-Op, or Operating Room settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and support clinical staff within your service line, serving as a clinical expert and resource.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and exercise sound clinical judgment to develop individualized care plans.
Monitor patient progress and collaborate with the healthcare team to adjust care strategies accordingly.
Develop and update a core curriculum in partnership with the clinical educator and system education team.
Oversee new staff orientation, ongoing staff education, and evaluate training programs to ensure continuous improvement.
Lead unit and system-level initiatives to optimize workflow, safety, and patient outcomes.
Act as a role model, mentor, and member of the management team, always aligning with the organization’s Mission and Vision.
