About The Position

The Registered Nurse Coordinator is responsible for providing direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards. As a coordinator he or she will provide team leadership to enhance the station or unit flow and functioning. Requirements

  • Graduate from an approved RN nursing program
  • Valid and current Texas RN license
  • Current BCLS through American Heart Association
  • Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy
  • CRT experience
  • Experience leading a team
  • 2 year in a clinical area related to assigned department.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Two years of ambulatory care
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned
  • Windows- based computer skills
  • ACLS
