About The Position

Responsible for the overall operational flow of the inpatient unit including coordination, collaboration and direction of the entire unit during the shift covered to ensure effective delivery of healthcare service and KPI`s (Key Performance Indicators) or unit specific measures. Functions as staff resource in facilitating critical thinking and clinical decision making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
  • Current/valid State of New Jersey license (or legal permission to work from the New Jersey Board of Nursing).
  • BLS, ACLS required through American Heart Association.
  • Progressive supervisory experience, i.e., relief charge nurse, etc.
  • Medical terminology and computer and keyboard skills required.

  • Ability to manage a changing work environment due to changing patient needs.
  • Proven interaction and communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, family members, physicians, and co-workers.
