How you’ll make an impact in this role Lead and Inspire: Provide direct leadership and mentorship, assigning, directing, educating, and monitoring the performance of nursing and support associates throughout your shifts. Strategic Planning: Exercise expert independent judgment in daily meetings with staff to proactively plan and adjust shifts, services, and complex patient care logistics. Invest in Talent: Play an active, vital role in the talent lifecycle, contributing valuable input toward the hiring, training, development, and performance evaluation of our dedicated staff. Orchestrate Care Assignments: Assess daily patient care needs and expertly develop and distribute patient care assignments, guaranteeing that every patient receives care appropriate for their specific population and acuity level. Ensure Readiness: Proactively manage and facilitate the ready availability of all necessary materials, resources, and clinical supplies for continuous, uninterrupted patient care. Prioritize Dynamics: Skillfully set and adjust clinical and operational priorities in real-time, responding effectively to the ever-changing dynamics of patient and physician needs. Resolve and Refine: Address and manage patient care complaints through established, professional channels, continually seeking opportunities to refine our processes and improve the patient experience.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
