Aspirus Prentice Clinic in Prentice, WI is seeking a REGISTERED NURSE TEAM LEAD to join our team! This position will also cover the Phillips Clinic The Clinic Registered Nurse Team Lead understands and supports the philosophy and policies and procedures of Aspirus and functions in the capacity of a staff Registered Nurse (See Clinic RN job 2517) with additional accountability in supporting administrative functions. The Clinic Registered Nurse Specialist works collaboratively to produce, nurture, and sustain a professional practice and healthy work environment that affords and enhances patient care experience, effectiveness, and efficiency through leadership to multidisciplinary teams, effective physician relationships and a shared vision and dedication to the future of Aspirus. In the absence of, and in support of onsite leadership, the Clinic Registered Nurse Specialist assumes an active role in providing guidance and assistance with clinic operations of regional sites and services. In collaboration with the formal leadership team, the Clinic Registered Nurse Specialist is a liaison for overseeing the functioning of the clinic/department which includes participation in direct patient care as well as ensuring appropriate resources to provide safe, high quality patient care. HOURS: Full Time or .8 FTE, 64 hours every pay period. Monday - Friday day shift.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in nursing required.
  • A minimum of three years' experience as a practicing RN of which one year has been a leadership role or relevant experience preferred.
  • Possesses an active Wisconsin and/or Michigan RN nursing license.
  • Current CPR certification, or within 90 days of hire. All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training through independent study, manikin, and knowledge testing. An acceptable CPR training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.
