Job Summary: Provides professional nursing care to assigned pre and post-procedure patients. Monitors vital signs, administers medications, including intravenous medications, and develops patient care discharge plans in conjunction with physicians. Provides support to patients waking up from anesthesia, including bandage maintenance, pain management, nausea treatment, and ensuring patients receive adequate rest, fluids and nutrients. Observes patients' progress, records observations in patient medical records, and updates attending physicians directly when necessary. Teaches patients how to clean bandages, take medication, and follow post-surgical care instructions. In addition, also providers patient care coordination and triage to support the clinic. Records patient histories, call in pharmacy orders and refills, assist with clinic patient care and addresses patient questions and concerns related to pre- and post-procedure care. Pay and Benefits: Pay: $41.06 - $72.84 per hour based on relevant experience, skills, and abilities.
